Volunteer and Foster Opportunities
Want to do good in your community and get a regular furry-friend fix? Become a volunteer at the Dumb Friends League and help us with our mission to end pet homelessness and animal suffering.
When you volunteer at the League, you’re joining a family of volunteers and staff committed to providing love and support for the animals in our care.
Whether it’s giving basic care to animals at one of our locations or providing a temporary home for a foster pet until it’s ready for adoption, we hope there is an opportunity that is a good fit for you.
About Our Opportunties
- Age Requirement: For most opportunities, volunteers must be at least 16 years older. Learn more about youth opportunities through our Humane Education department or about our junior foster program.
- Commitment: Volunteers must be able to make a commitment of three hours per week for six months, with the exception of foster parents. Unable to make the required commitment? Click to learn more about our community service program.
